Still Working
Wow - long time no post! Well, we've been working "in the studio", slowly but surely. We finished "Master Builder" last night. This can be difficult since we only are able to get together twice a week for about an hour each time. I'm praying we'll get some time during the holidays to spend on it.

WSQ Sings at Covenant Baptist Church
We had the privilege once again to sing at Covenant Baptist Church, in Troy, MI a couple of weeks ago. Bro. Farmer was so kind to have us come up and be with them on their anniversary Sunday. Bro. Gary Harrah preached a great message on priorities as members of New Testament Baptist churches. It was a great afternoon!
Thanks Bro. Farmer and the Covenant Baptist Church.

WSQ has been having a lot of fun in the H&H recording studio (at present a Sunday school class room). Last night the guys nailed the song "Where The Soul Never Dies" in one sitting. It was great! It is a lot of work, to say the least. However, with the TASCAM 2488NEO portastudio, the guys have been learning how to "punch" in their voices to correct mistakes. That is fun!
I'll try to get a full song on the FRMBC website for a demo soon.
If any churches would like to have Willing Servants Quartet come to sing at a special meeting, please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail (See contact info). We just need a few weeks' notice so the guys can get off work.

WSQ sings at Traverse City Bible Conference

We had the privilege to sing at the Bible Conference at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Traverse City, MI this past Saturday. We enjoyed some great preaching on the topic of "We See Jesus" - As Prophet, as Priest, as King, and as Lord. Great messages!
The guys did a fine job ministering in song to the wonderful people in attendance.
Thank you Bro. Graber and church for the opportunity to sing and be a part of a wonderful day!

WSQ In the Studio
We have been in the studio working on our first project. We still need to purchase some headphones and a headphone amplifier so that we reduce the risk of rollover on our vocal tracks. I'll post some pictures soon.
We're still learning new songs and hope to sing them soon.
We'd love to be able to sing at revivals and Bible conferences. If any Independent, KJV Baptist pastors are interested, contact me by phone or e-mail. Check the contact information to the right.

Great Job last night
The guys did a great job on the song "Won't It Be Wonderful There"! The harmony was tight and pitch was perfect. Good job boys! Let's keep up the work - it's so well worth it!

Recording Equipment
We now have the funds to purchase a digital portastudio and a few blank CDs to begin WSQ's first professional recording.

We will begin recording as soon as we can get the equipment. It will take some time to get it done, but we should be able to have a project ready by mid to late summer; that is if all goes according to plan. If you would still like to give a love offering to the group you may do so. The more we get, the more CDs we'll be able to make. We've had several folks who made donations and we were very humbled by a couple of substantial single donations. Thank you all so very much. It's our desire that the product of your donations becomes a great blessing to you and to others.

Willings Servants Turns Two
Bro. Tom, our tenor, informed me today that our group is now two years old. We're just little babies. Boy have we changed in two years. At the beginning Michael sang tenor, Tom sang lead, and Tim sang baritone. Then Michael's voice dropped.

Recording Equipment
We have about 75% of the funds to be able to purchase a recording device that will enable us to produce a CD. We've saved some money from love offerings we received when we sang and we've received some offerings from folks at our church.
If you would like to give a love offering to the quartet, we'll be sure you get a copy of the CD when it is finished.
Help us spread the word about Willing Servants. We would like to be able to minister to sister churches (Independent Baptist of course). We even have a group page on facebook.com - look us up!
If you would like to give a love offering for the recording equipment, send checks or money orders to:
Bob Hugan

God Bless!
